A new discussion group / mailing list has been set up called ThorpeDNA.org Genealogy and can be accessed here. Posts will be publicly viewable but posting replies and creating new topics will require joining group. The hope is that the group will allow a central point of discussion and documentation for our research together.

George Thorpe my 4X great grandfather emigrated to the U.S. from Coningsby, Lincolnshire Co., England. He and wife, Sarah Hare, sailed from Princess Dock in Liverpool landing in New Orleans in July 1830. Progressing up the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers they eventually settled in Howard Co. and later Adair Co. Missouri.
